This engaging, hands-on engineering class is perfect for the inquisitive student! Which type of bridge design is the strongest? Which parachute design will get my LEGO minifigure safely to land? Which LEGO car design goes the fastest? All of these questions will be explored within this LEGO engineering class! We will use LEGOs and other hands-on building projects to explore STEM related topics. Students will be introduced to the Design Process which will guide them from discovering a problem, to brainstorming ideas, then choosing the best idea, testing their idea, reevaluating their design, and finally presenting their final project.
*If you have a student with special needs, please contact the teacher directly to discuss how to best accommodate your child.
**All Life Adventures activities & classes require an annual family registration. Once you’ve registered your family, to enroll in a class, pay the $10 enrollment fee and in the notes tell us the name and age/grade of the child you are enrolling. 2nd semester sign-ups will need to re-enroll their child through this process. The teacher will contact you within one week of enrollment to give class details and be available for questions.
