V is for Vision

MyVision

A free digital resource led by expert ophthalmologists and optometrists to provide trusted information on eye health and vision

With a majority of classes and coursework shifting online, a challenge for many students with a visual impairment is how they can effectively use the internet for e-learning. We recently published a guide on internet accessibility for the blind and visually impaired, that covers topics such as:

- What are web content accessibility guidelines?

- What vision conditions can cause people to struggle using the internet?

- Tips for easier internet browsing

- Accessories that can help those with low vision

- Why it matters, and more.

We believe every student should have access to the tools and resources necessary to help them succeed! Would you consider adding this guide to offer even more helpful information for visually impaired students?
