Elementary School U.S. History (Sunny Lane 2pm) 1st-5th $100/Semester
This class will teach students the amazing history of our country & its formation through stories and interactive activities.
This class was intentionally chosen for this 26/27 schoolyear as our country celebrates its 250th birthday in 2026! With a focus on telling our nation's history through stories, we'll study the events that led to our formation, the Revolutionary War, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, the formation and function of the government and its branches, major events and wars after our establishment, and more! We'll study different people, places, and events in-depth, and we'll keep things interesting by learning in different ways -- sometimes through games, interactive readings, and virtual field trips. My desire is that history will feel exciting and important to each student as we learn together about the history of our great nation!
There may be very occasional homework, to give students a chance to practice responsibility as well as learn more about topics that interest them!

** All classes require online family registration and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost listed in the title of the class is per semester and is due no later than the first day of each semester in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to the teacher. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
