Music and Movement (Sunny Lane 1pm) Preschool - K $100/Semester

A fun class teaching pre-k students musical rhythm and body movement.

Welcome to Music and Movement !

This course is designed to get your littles moving to the music and also learning to control their bodies.

Class time might look like :

First 5 - students will get settled on their mats. We will take time to share the best part of our week and something that was hard.

5-10 minutes of stretches

5-10 minutes of moving to music (music will have instructions on what to do)

5-10 minutes of rhythm practice. Students will be given an instrument to use and follow along with beats, timing, sound, etc

5-10 minutes of STILLNESS! YES! At the end of each class students will learn to quiet their bodies and breathe. This is a wonderful exercise on teaching them they are in control ! A soft song will be played at times as well.

Students should wear comfortable clothes and have socks!

Required Materials: yoga mat. (We will NOT be practicing yoga. Mats are intended to keep students in their own spot and for comfort when stretching or being still)

** All classes require online family registration and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost listed in the title of the class is per semester and is due no later than the first day of each semester in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to the teacher. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
