Let’s play life and learn some practical lessons in the process.

Choose your profession - Doctor? Medical school debt accompanies that field. Teacher? There are pros and cons to every decision. This course will inform students how individual choices directly influence their occupational goals and future earnings potential. Real world topics covered will include income, money management, spending and credit, as well as saving and investing. Students will design personal and household budgets utilizing checking and saving accounts, gain knowledge in finance, debt and credit management, and evaluate and understand insurance and taxes. They’ll get a foundational understanding for making informed personal financial decisions, God willing, leading to financial independence.

Hands-on and group activities will often be used. Group discussion is required. Papers and tests will not be required in this class, however, grade assessment will include in-class activities, in-class discussion, and completed homework assignments.

Instructor will provide all materials for this class. Access to the internet is required for this class.

** All classes require online family registration and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost of the class is due no later than the first day of each semester in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to the teacher. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
