¡Hablemos Español! (Let’s Speak Spanish!) High School Spanish for Beginners - Dive into the exciting world of Spanish. This introductory class provides students with a solid foundation in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the Spanish language. Over the course of a year, students will build essential communication skills, learning everything from basic greetings and sentence structure to everyday vocabulary, cultural insights, and real-world conversation practice.
Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and multimedia resources, students will explore topics such as family, food, travel, hobbies, and more. Grammar fundamentals—including verb conjugations, sentence formation, and question structures—will be taught in an easy-to-follow, practical way. Fun and immersive activities like listening to Spanish music, watching videos, playing games, and even trying out authentic Hispanic recipes will bring the language to life.
Assessments will include quizzes, conversation practice, writing exercises, and a final project, allowing students to demonstrate their language skills in a creative and meaningful way. Whether using a textbook, online tools, or real-world applications, ¡Hablemos Español! (Let’s Speak Spanish!) will equip students with the confidence to communicate in Spanish while fostering an appreciation for the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.

** All classes require online family registration and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost of the class is due no later than the first day of each semester in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to the teacher. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
